This Sustainable Community Strategy update, incorporating the Local Area Agreement, sets out the Council and the Local Strategic Partnership’s ambitions for the next three years. The targets that have been set are challenging and will require the full support and cooperation of all Council departments, LSP partners and members of the public to achieve. However, these ambitions, if realised, will result in significant improvements in the quality of life for all our residents and will narrow some of the gaps that currently exist between Blackburn with Darwen and other local authority areas.
